Dr. Romanelli x CLOT x Levi’s Leather Denim Jackets
I'm a fan of denim and leather, so this is a perfect marriage in my world, part of CLOT’s new “From Dust Till Dawn” Collection for Fall/Winter 2009 is its triple collaborative effort alongside Dr. Romanelli and Levi’s. Pairing a 50% Cotton and 50% Leather base, each entity adds their own unique spin on the project, which features classic Levi’s signature denim back pockets, a satin CLOT lining and Silver accents. You can bet this is going to be warm enough wear during those cold new york winters, provided you have the right sweater underneath. A release is scheduled for December 2009 with retail set at $1,540 USD. Siiick!!

One Year Ago Today!!
One year ago today, we made history. "We are the one's we've been waiting for." This statement is just as meaningful now as it was then. With the debate over health care, two wars and host of other issues. Get involved, pay attention to the issues that effect you and never be complacent.
"Let us have faith that right makes might, and in that faith, let us, to the end, dare to do our duty as we understand it." - Abraham Lincoln

Aston Martin Agora Concept
Not exactly James Bond ready, but pretty cool none the less. Created by a design team lead by Himanshu Bhardwaj, I'm sure they'll add the necessary safety features, ie; bulletproof glass, rocket launchers and spike resistant tires. Enjoy.

Obama!!
Two amazing speeches, but not enough to silence his critics. I've never heard of elected officials opposing a President delivering a speech to kids.. What did they think he was going to say?
Last nights health care speech was very impressive, but as we saw with Joe Wilson's outburst many people on the right are determined to kill the bill. It will be interesting to see how this story unfolds in the coming weeks.

Phyllis Hyman - You Know How To Love Me
Last night at The Eldridge i decided to play all my favorite songs for last 2 hrs, much to the crowds dismay...lol. This is one of my favorite songs. They definitely don't make them like this anymore, nor do you find young singers with such a powerful voice. Phyllis Hyman rest in peace and thank you for blessing us with this timeless classic.

Really???
It's amazing to me that many of the Republicans don't see the danger in spreading racially charged lies in order to rally their base. Especially with the Americas history of assassinations of public figures. It's even more amazing hearing actual elected officials like former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay side with such a crazy idea.

Obama needs a little George W. Bush in him
Daily Show Full Episodes | Political Humor | Spinal Tap Performance |
Jon Stewart came down on the Obama administration last night for going off message when talking about health care reform. The president has taken heat from protesters and pundits alike over the past several weeks for his "public option" plan which would provide a government-run alternative to private health insurance. On Saturday Obama's message wavered when he responded to a question in Grand Junction, Colorado by saying, "...The public option, whether we have it or we don't have it, is not the entirety of health care reform. This is just one sliver of it, one aspect of it."

John Stewart should moderate Meet The Press...
Ok, that's a stretch, but he is amazing at catching people on their bullsh*t. Check out this clip of him dissecting founder of the Weekly Standard/ conservative commentator Bill Kristol.
And you wonder why an increasing percentage of Americans trust John Stewart over other commentators.
