Anyway, was talking to a friend who spins at a chic downtown spot and it turns out one of the mangers told him that he doesn't like it when a DJ's beat matches....It took my a while to grasp this concept, then it dawned on me. There are so many bad DJ's doing high end parties that bad mixes and random song selection is a style. Don't act you don't know what i'm talking about, the guys who spin with an ipod mixer. Then you get thrown on after them to salvage the night...great.
