Being a fairly new producer (ableton 8 & Logic 9) I always look out for dope youtube clips showing cool tricks that I otherwise wouldn't figure out myself. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to chop a sample to midi notes in Live. Then I found this. Enjoy. Btw, you have to resample the your track in a separate audio clip first to speed up the tempo and increase the pitch.

Two amazing speeches, but not enough to silence his critics. I've never heard of elected officials opposing a President delivering a speech to kids.. What did they think he was going to say?

Last nights health care speech was very impressive, but as we saw with Joe Wilson's outburst many people on the right are determined to kill the bill. It will be interesting to see how this story unfolds in the coming weeks.

No words can fully express the feeling of losing of such a talented DJ and more so a great person. Regardless of the circumstances he deserved better. By far the best DJ I've ever heard and yet an incredibly great guy. Rest in peace big homie, you we're an inspiration to us all.

It's amazing to me that many of the Republicans don't see the danger in spreading racially charged lies in order to rally their base. Especially with the Americas history of assassinations of public figures. It's even more amazing hearing actual elected officials like former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay side with such a crazy idea.

The president has taken heat from protesters and pundits alike over the past several weeks for his "public option" plan which would provide a government-run alternative to private health insurance. On Saturday Obama's message wavered when he responded to a question in Grand Junction, Colorado by saying, "...The public option, whether we have it or we don't have it, is not the entirety of health care reform. Set for release in 2010 it will be the sequel to the 1982 film Tron directed by Steven Lisberger (who will be a producer). Joseph Kosinski has been tapped as director, and the trailer so far looks incredible. Daft Punk will be composing the film score. So far it's been reported that they have completed 24 tracks for the film.
